A massive congratulations to the band after winning the Grade 1 Australian National Pipe Band Championships. The band won both the March, Strathspey and Reel, and the Medley contest, with 7 first places out of a possible 8.
This is the first time the band has won the Australian Championships in Grade 1, which I’m sure you would agree, is a tremendous achievement by the band.
The band would also like to thank Dr. Frost, a long-term friend of the band for all the support with helping the band get to Ballarat and also to Pamela Thompson, another long-term friend of the band, for supporting and helping the band whilst at the championships.
