The Western Australia Police Pipe Band performs for approximately 17000 scholars each year, meeting a diverse and culturally rich demographic. As part of the schools program, the band provides an informative musical presentation to the students, followed by an educational discussion from the band officers with each class. During the talks to each individual class, the band officers explain their role within the Western Australia Police, followed by a detailed tour of their uniform and instruments.
Schools Pack
Band officers have put together an interactive pack for the schools. Included in this pack, are colouring exercises, word searches, design your own tartan and crest exercises, and many more features. We encourage schools and students to provide us with their thoughts on our visit to their school.
